In truly stunning all original condition, this solid 18K gold IWC dress watch features a factory original mint champagne dial, gorgeous unpolished original finish case with wonderful design and a very high grade caliber 89 movement freshly serviced and keeping great time within.  At 36.5mm in diameter this timepiece has a strong, elegant presence on the wrist and is of the highest quality in every regard.  I true masterpiece from the house of International Watch Co. in beautifully preserved condition throughout.

Style: Mid-Century Dress

Case:  Large solid 18k gold case with wide stepped/angled bezel and teardrop shape lugs with original brushed/polish finish.  Measures 36.5mm in diameter excluding the slightly inset original crown and just 9mm thick including the original low dome crystal.  Signed inside the case back with the Probus IWC Scafusia logo, I8K, 0750.  Comes on a beautifully matched high quality, 18mm dark brown leather strap with gold plated aftermarket buckle. 

Dial: Absolutely stunning, mint original factory printed champagne dial with 12,3,6,9 hour number configuration with flattened baton indexes in between.  I love the outer minute dots adding a lovely subtle detail to an overall simple dial.  Signed International Watch Co. Schaffhausen.  The original baton style hands match to perfection.

Movement:  Superb, high grade IWC in-house caliber 89 manual wind movement in wonderfully clean and bright cosmetic and mechanical condition with incabloc protection on the balance jewels.  Signed International Watch Co, Swiss, with C89 stamped below the balance.  The serial number is stamped on the main-plate between the balance bridge and train bridges which dates it to between 1945-1950.  Freshly serviced by our watchmaker and in excellent working condition.
