This rare and extremely stylish Omega Automatic Seamaster circa 1959 has a beautiful original 2-tone silvered dial and superbly crafted screw back "waterproof" stainless steel case with the Seamaster logo emblazoned on the back. There is something special about the look of this dial and I think perhaps it is the oversize wedge markers at 3,6,9 and 12 o'clock along with the delicate two tone silvered detail. At 31mm diameter while it is considered a midsize watch these days, it would have been exclusively worn by men and the 1950's and 60'. Today it would look great on a woman, or a smaller mens wrist. The high grade Omega caliber 570 automatic movement is immaculate and keeping great time having just been serviced by our watchmaker. An excellent and rare midsize Omega in great all original condition.

Measures 31mm excluding the original signed crown and is in excellent condition say for a small scratch to not on the back. Signed inside Acier Inoxydable, Omega Watch Co. Fab. Suisse, Swiss Made with model reference number 2991 1 SC. Comes on a new genuine leather 17mm wide strap.
Dial: Original factory printed dial with heavy applied steel markers and omega symbol, center seconds with minute track, signed Omega Automatic, Seamaster, Swiss. Excellent condition say for a few minor blemishes. The hands have all there original orange luminous paint, but do have some corrosion to the metal.
Movement: Immaculate high grade fully automatic Omega calibre 570 movement signed Omega Watch Co. Swiss, Adjusted 2 Positions, 17 Jewels. Pristine condition on all the plates and parts, just serviced by our watchmaker and in excellent working condition.
