A truly stunning 1940's Leonidas triple-date moon phase calendar wristwatch with gorgeous original factory printed dial in a fancy solid stainless steel horn lug case, unpolished with beautifully thin rounded profile measuring 35.5mm in diameter. It is running strong and keeping excellent time with all 4 calendar functions working as they should following a full service by our watchmaker here at Meticulous. One of the rare early moonphase calendar models to have 4 quick-set buttons, one for each calendar function making it easy to fully set when pulled from your collection for some wrist time. This watch was produced in the 1940's a few years before the Leonidas-Heuer conglomeration formed. A rare and highly sought after complicated timepiece with a beautiful design in every regard in truly remarkable condition throughout.

Case: Solid stainless steel snap back case with fancy horn lugs and original crown. Correctly signed on the back Stainless Steel, Swiss, with the serial and model number 1201. Four buttons, two on each side of the case are use to quick set the day, date, month and moon phase features. The case measures 35.5mm diameter excluding two original unsigned crown. Comes on a perfectly matched genuine leather 18mm strap with generic stainless steel buckle.
Dial: Original factory printed two tone silvered dial with outer date ring and apertures for the day, month and moon phase sub-dials. Applied gold stylized hour numbers match the no-lume Dauphine hands to perfection. Signed Leonidas, Swiss.
Movement: Complicated triple date moon-phase manual wind movement with 17 jewels caliber ETA 1100 (made especially for Leonidas). Recently serviced and in excellent working condition with our full one year mechanical warranty.
Note: Never use any of the quick-set features between the hours of 10pm and 2am as the mechanism to advance the calendar functions are engaged and can be damaged if the quick-set buttons are pressed during that period.
