A rare and stunning vintage 1937 Patek Philippe Calatrava model reference 96 in solid stainless steel.  As one of the quintessential designs in Patek Philippe history this model brings a true sense of haute horology and its history to your wrist, accentuated by the knowledge that in stainless steel far fewer of these examples were ever produced than in gold.  The balanced and flowing design of the case, the simple yet bold construction of the dial along with an ultra high-grade calibre 12-120 movement within makes this a truly foundational timepiece in watchmaking evolution.  This example has a stunning presence on the wrist with the dial only slightly aged, still bright and sharp with the case showing wear consistent with age.  Comes with an official Patek Philippe & Co Extract From The Archives detailing its place in history, originally sold January 11th of 1938.
