Reminiscent of Universal Geneve Polerouter designs of the same era, this vintage Wittnauer is of excellent quality inside and out, powered by a 17 jewel self-winding movement within. Case: Solid stainless steel case measuring 33.5mm in diameter excluding the partially recessed crown with 18mm strap. Signed inside the back Wittnauer, New York, Geneva, Montreal, Star W.C.Co, Stainless Steel with model number 2312-11SN.
Dial: Stunning original factory printed tuxedo style dial with deep black glossy background with silver mirrored and faceted outer ring. Applied W logo at 12:00 with white printed crosshair, minute marks and signed Wittnauer, Automatic, Swiss. Duaphine style hands with matching luminous.
Movement: Wittnauer caliber 11SN automatic movement signed Wittnauer Watch Co, 17 Jewels, Unadjusted, Swiss with Kif shock protection on the balance. Some discolouration on the rotor but otherwise in excellent cosmetic and mechanical condition. Freshly serviced, keeping great time and comes with our full 1 year mechanical warranty.
