Case: 14k solid gold tank style case with hinged, curved back and original glass crystal. Fully signed inside Alpina, 0.585 (14K). Measures 22mm by 37.5mm. 17mm strap.
Dial: Amazing original factory printed two-tone dial with outer minute track, deco style numbers and small seconds at 6:00. Signed Alpina. Sharp blued steel hands.
Movement: Immaculate Alpina in house caliber 490A manual wind form style movement. 15 Jewels. Also protected by a dust cover inside the outer gold case. Recently serviced and in excellent working condition.
This 1930's Alpina timepiece is superb condition throughout with near mint dial, stunning movement and beautiful solid gold case showing almost no wear. A classic piece of Art Deco design, the gold tone dial is wonderfully crafted and looks spectacular on the wrist. We have left the crown in place as we believe it to be original although it has oxidized slightly over the years. A truly rare find with in house manufactured movement from a top Swiss house!!
