This exceptional 1934 Longines tank style wristwatch from the early Art Deco period is in wonderful condition throughout, recently serviced by our watchmaker and keeping great time. It features an original factory printed 2-tone "sector" style dial with fancy mirrored highlights and is powered by a rare, high grade caliber 20.28 form style movement housed in solid stainless steel. These archetypal examples of high Art Deco design, especially from a famed house such as Longines are becoming increasingly difficult to find especially in original condition, making this not only a beautiful timepiece to own but a superb investment quality watch for any collector.

Case: High quality two-piece solid stainless steel tank style case with curved back, hinged to the bezel at 6:00. Stamped inside with the serial number matching the movement insuring 100% originality. It measures 22mm wide excluding the crown by 37mm lug tip to tip and comes on a brand new genuine leather clip on style (fixed lugs) 18mm strap with stainless steel buckle.
Dial: Rare original factory printed two-tone dial with classic high Art Deco "sector" design, inner circular minute chapter and mirrored numbers/markers with sub-seconds at 6:00. Signed Longines. Some minor spotting, but overall in excellent, bright condition and looks beautiful on the wrist.
Movement: Superb quality Longines calibre 20.28 rectangular form style manual wind movement signed Longines with serial number 5,296,XXX dating the watch to 1934. Superb cosmetic condition with 17 jewels, Geneva stripe plate decoration, unique directly engaged small second pinion and bi-metallic compensated balance on a blue hairspring. Recently serviced by our watchmaker and in excellent working condition, keeping great time.
