A superb 1940's solid 18k rose gold Lusina chronograph housed in a gorgeous, near mint and unpolished case with fancy horn style lugs framing the original factory printed salmon colour dial, powered by the famous Valjoux calibre 23 column wheel movement, freshly serviced here at Meticulous ready to wear!  A wonderful vintage Art Deco era chronograph of the highest quality in every regard.

Case: Rare solid 18k rose/pink gold case measuring 33mm in diameter excluding the crown and rectangular pushers with fancy horn or teardrop style sculpted lugs.  The 17mm lug spacing is fitted with a nicely matched older genuine Sarcar Geneve strap with generic gold plated buckle.  Hallmarked on the back, 18k, 0.750 with an Art Deco style presentation engraving dating the watch to 1951.  The case makers mark is a Hammerhead #109, the Sandoz & Co of La Chaux-de-Fonds, famous for their teardrop lug designs.  Signed inside the back Lusina, Swiss.

Dial: Stunning 100% factory printed original salmon colour dial with outer Base 1000M tachymeter track printed in blue with dot hour markers and matching sword style rose gold hands.  Superb condition throughout. Signed Lusina, Geneve, Swiss. 

Movement:  The famous, high-grade Valjoux caliber 23 manual wind chronograph movement in fantastic cosmetic and mechanical condition, with column wheel operation near 6 o'clock, signed Swiss Made.  Freshly serviced and keeping excellent time with all chronograph functions working perfectly.  Comes with our full 1-year mechanical warranty.
