Case: Oversize solid stainless steel case with square pushers and original crown, correctly signed inside back Les Fils D'A. Nicolet. Helbros was the North American label for the Swiss Nicolet Watch Co. factory. 38mm Diameter. 20mm Strap.
Dial: Original factory printed 2 register chronograph dial with outer Tachymeter dial in blue. Small seconds at 9:00 and minute counter at 3:00. Clear luminous numbers and mint original hands. Overall good condition with some slight discoloration around the top of the dial.
Movement: Good quality Swiss 17 Jewel chronograph movement Venus caliber 175. Recently serviced and in excellent working condition.
This is a fantastic giant size all stainless steel chronograph from the 1950's in overall great condition. The 38mm diameter 3 piece stepped case is beautiful with almost no wear. Even the 2 chrono buttons and original crown are in great shape. This watch would be in near mint condition if it weren't for the slight discoloration near the top of the dial. Great vintage look. A very nice vintage chronograph at a very nice price.
