Beautiful early Longines wristwatch in solid 14K rose gold with near mint "red 12" white enamel roman numeral dial circa 1915. This would have been considered a very thin and stylish full size mens dress watch when it was purchased new almost a hundred years ago. It measures 31.5mm in diameter and only 8.6mm thick including the original glass crystal. The dial is stunning, signed Longines just above the sub-seconds dial at 6:00 with no hairline cracks or chips. A skillfully crafted and conceived early gold timepiece from the famous house of Longines, Switzerland. A fine collectors example or a stunning ladies dress watch in today's market.

Case: Original solid 14k gold 4-piece case with hinged back and dust covers, stamped with all the correct hallmarks, E.F. & Co, Longines and matching serial numbers to the movement. Measures 31.5mm in diameter excluding the crown and wire lugs. Comes on a high quality black leather 12mm Hirsch strap. Excellent cosmetic condition with very little signs of wear.
Dial: Near mint original factory made white enamel dial with outer minute track, roman numeral hour markers and small seconds at 6:00. Signed Longines, Swiss Made.
Movement: Excellent quality thin Longines caliber 12.92 manual wind movement with Breguet over-coil blue steel hairspring and 15 jewels signed Longines with the winged hourglass symbol stamped on the balance bridge. Excellent working condition fully serviced by our watchmaker. The serial number matches that stamped on both the inside back covers and dates the watch to 1915.
