Awesome 1970's Heuer Calculator pilots chronograph with micro-rotor automatic calibre 12 movement and massive solid stainless steel case with slide rule rotating bezel. This is a true cult classic with fantastic original deep blue dial and original crown uniquely placed at 9:00 with chronograph buttons at 2:00 and 4:00. The complicated slide rule bezel was originally designed for in flight calculations. This watch has been fully serviced and in excellent working condition with superb polished/brushed case and factory original dial. A must have for any vintage Heuer connoisseur.

Case: Heavy solid stainless steel 2-piece case with thick barrel-shape body, screw down back and original fluted chrono buttons at 2 and 4 o'clock. The slide-rule rotating bezel is in excellent condition with only a couple of minor dings, please see pictures. Measures 45mm wide excluding the original Heuer signed crown by 48mm top to bottom. Stamped inside the back: Heuer-Leonidas SA, Swiss, Stainless Steel. The hidden lugs are fitted with a matching blue, 22mm wide strap.
Dial: Original factory printed dial with matte blue background, fluorescent orange 30 minute chronograph register at 3:00, 12 hour register at 9:00 and date aperture at 6:00. Fully signed Heuer Calculator, Automatic Chronograph, Swiss.
Movement: Complicated Heuer caliber 12 movement with hidden micro-rotor automatic mechanism, 30 minute and 12 hour sub registers and incabloc balance protection. Interesting hour register design in that unlike most which gradually creep along to show time elapsed, this design clicks the white register hand one step forward after each 30 minute period.
