Beautiful IWC automatic wristwatch in solid staybrite stainless steel with original dial and high grade caliber 852 pellaton system automatic movement, freshly service and ready to wear.  Nice large size 35mm diameter case has a great presence on the wrist with beautifully designed lugs and original signed crown.  The lightly aged dial adds that unmistakable vintage feel but still looks very bright and clear on the wrist.  Inside we find the immaculate, high grade movement which uses the now famous "Pellaton" winding system to wind the watch as you wear it.  Invented by Albert Pellaton (IWC's chief engineer starting in 1944) the mechanism incorporates two rollers mounted on a double arm bridge which oscillate around an asymmetric, centrally located cam on the semi-circular shaped winding weight (rotor).  When the rotor moves with the actions of your arm, two independent clicks ratchet around a saw-toothed edge winding wheel, giving the mainspring almost continuously and even winding pressure.  A beautifully engineered and crafted timepiece from the famous house of IWC.
