A beautiful vintage 1970's Jaeger-LeCoultre Automatic Memovox alarm wristwatch in solid stainless steel with original factory printed dial, JLC signed crowns and high-grade in-house caliber 825 movement, freshly serivced and keeping great time. Such a stylish and functional watch on the wrist with mystery alarm inner dial and date display, housed in perfectly proportioned 37mm diameter case with 18mm strap. This famous model E 855 hold a special place in Jaeger-LeCoultre history with its tchnically intricate and complicated alarm/calendar automatic movement introduced in 1960. This example shows some wear to the case and a the dial has lovely light patina giving it a soft vintage feel, although it still looks sharp on the wrist with bold baton markers and hatching hands. The calibre 825 movement within is also in excellent cosmetic and mechancial condition with the alarm function working beautifully. A truly timeless creation with a fantastic complication from the famous house of JLC.
