A rare and beautiful vintage 1970's Cartier dress watch with fancy triple stepped bezel and stunning original black gilt dial on a genuine Cartier leather band with original buckle. These were produced for a short time in the 1970's with 18k gold electroplated cases for the American market in a style very similar to the famous Christallor solid gold models of the same era. I love the look of that black roman numeral dial with sharp sword style hands giving it an unmistakable and classic Art Deco Cartier feel. It measures a nice midsize at 27.5mm square excluding the original blue cabochon crown and with the 18mm wide strap looks beautiful on a smaller men's or women's wrist.  A stunning piece of Cartier history with a unique design and striking presence.
