A very classy yet unique vintage Omega dress watch from 1963 with beautiful tank style case design and cool original "two-tone" brushed 1/4 sectioned dial. This watch looks extremely sharp on the wrist with a very low profile and a truly timeless design. Excellent condition throughout with just a few minor signs of age around the outside rim of the dial, only slightly visible to the naked eye on the wrist. A very classy, high quality vintage timepiece with a wonderfully unusual 1960's mid-century flare.
Style: Mid-Century Dress
Circa: 1963
Case: Solid stainless 2-piece case with wide side bezels and thin profile, measuring 26mm by 34mm excluding the original signed crown and only 6.5mm thick. A great size for an average men's wrist or a perfect candidate for an over-sized women's watch. Signed inside the back Acier Inoxydable, Omega Watch Co. Fab Suisse, Swiss Made with model reference number 111004.
Dial: Original factory printed silver dial with unique quarter section design and vertical baton style applied markers, signed Omega, Swiss Made. Some slight discoloration can be seen in a few places around the outer edge, but overall the look on your wrist is clean and crisp.
Movement: High quality Omega in-house calibre 620 manual wind movement signed Omega Watch Co. Swiss, 17 Jewels, Adjusted 2 Positions with a serial number dating it to 1963. Fully serviced by our watchmaker and in excellent working condition.
Strap: This watch comes on a very nice high quality 20mm wide genuine leather strap with stainless steel buckle but I also have the original signed Omega strap and buckle that will be included in the sale, just too old, stiff and used to use any more. It also has a 20mm-14mm taper, so will need the right size strap to fit the original buckle.
