Case: Fabulous 2-piece snap back case with an unusual design featuring large, exaggerated wing-shape lugs set on a simple square bezel. Measures 27mm wide excluding the original signed crown, by 39mm lug tip to tip. Signed inside the back Cased And Timed In USA By Gruen Watch Co, 10K Gold Filled, with model reference number M22392. Overall excellent condition, with crisp edges and nice original polished/brushed finish. The original mineral glass crystal has just a couple light scratches to note. Comes on a beautiful new medium brown 16mm wide genuine leather strap.
Dial: Original factory printed 2-tone checkerboard dial with applied gold markers, sub-seconds at 6:00 and original alpha style hands. Overall bright condition with a few minor marks to note (see pictures) but still looks superb on the wrist.
Movement: High grade Gruen caliber 335 form style manual wind movement featuring 21 Jewels, blue Breguet over-coil hairspring and fancy polished stainless steel cap jewels on the escape, 3rd and 4th wheels. Signed Gruen Cincinnati USA, Precision, Veri-Thin, Patented, 335. Fully serviced by our watchmaker and in excellent working condition, keeping great time.
