Classically simple is the statement made by this stunning 18k IWC dress watch with solid gold dial and superb caliber 401 movement. This minimalist model from the late 1950's is a joy to wear with large size analog display, hidden lugs and amazingly flat profile. The solid 18k original dial has been professionally restored to mint condition which gives this timepiece a very bright and sharp look. The movement is of the highest quality in all regards but especially in its engineering which as a watchmaker I have always admired from the house of International Watch Co. A beautifully simple dress watch with the kind of timeless class and elegance you will never tire of.
Style: Mid-Century Dress
Circa: 1956
Case: 3-peice solid 18k gold case measuring 34mm in diameter excluding the crown and only 8.3mm thick with much thinner profile at the edge of the bezel. The lugs are geometrically shaped and partially hidden with 17mm lugs spacing. Inside the back is fully signed International Watch Co, Swiss, IWC, 18k, 0.750. I do not believe the crown is original, but does fit the watch nicely in color and size. Comes on an Italian leather crocodile grain strap with gold plated buckle.

Nice overall condition with only a couple of minor signs of age. Fully serviced and in excellent working condition.
