Very stylish solid stainless steel Omega Automatic from 1955 with beautiful silver dial, large case with wide bezel and original crown. This is one of the first "full" 360 degree rotation rotor style movements Omega produced, the caliber 490 with sub seconds at 6:00 with a slightly larger, heavier rotor then the base caliber 470. Measuring 34mm in diameter, this watch is a couple of mm's larger then most made at the time with extra wide bezel giving it a much bigger feel and a nice presence on the wrist. Superb all original condition, ready to wear.

Case: Solid stainless steel 2-piece case with "waterproof" snap on back, wide bezel and original Omega signed crown. Signed inside the back Acier Inoxydable, Omega Watch Co. Fab. Suisse, Swiss Made, Patent + Applied. Measures 34mm in diameter with 18mm lug spacing.
Dial: Original factory printed dial with applied steel numbers and markers, sub-seconds at 6:00 signed Omega Automatic Swiss. Excellent condition with very light even patina.
Movement: Excellent quality Omega caliber 490 automatic movement with Incabloc balance protection and micro-regulator. Signed Omega Watch Co. Swiss, 17 Jewels, Unadjusted. Recently serviced by our watchmaker and in excellent working condition keeping great time.
