A stunning 1940's all original Leonidas triple date moon phase calendar wristwatch with fancy 35.5mm solid stainless steel case with fancy horn lugs, beautiful original dial with cool stylized numbers (check out the 10!) and rose gold hands and giving it that beautiful two tone look. The crescent moon red tip hand points to the date at the outer rim of the dial. The high quality ETA caliber 1100 movement is rare in that it has 4 quick-set buttons to easily update the phase of the moon, day, date and month of the year. Produced in the 1940's a few years before the Leonidas-Heuer conglomeration was officially finalized. It is keeping great time with all calendar functions working well after being recently serviced by our watchmaker. A rare and highly sought after high grade complicated timepiece with incredible style!

Case: Solid stainless steel snap back case with fancy horn lugs and original crown. 4 buttons, 2 on each side of the case are use to quick set the day, date, month and moon phase features. Measures 35.5mm diameter excluding crown. 18mm strap.
Dial: Original factory printed two tone silvered dial with outer date ring and apertures for the day, month and moon phase sub-dials. Applied gold number. Signed Leonidas, Swiss.
Movement: Complicated triple date moon-phase manual wind movement signed Seventeen 17 Jewels, Swiss, unadjusted, Leonidas Watch Factory. Caliber ETA 1100 (made especially for Leonidas). Recently serviced and in excellent working condition.
Note: Never use the quick-set buttons to set any fictions between 10pm and 2am on a triple date calendar movement. The pins to advance the calendar displays are engaged and they can be damaged if the quick set buttons are pressed.
