Stunning all original Leonidas triple date moon-phase calendar with a beautiful factory printed dial, fancy 35.5mm solid stainless steel case and four quick-set buttons for easy setting.  One of my personal favorite vintage triple-date-moon models, with lots of bang for your buck.  I just love the cool stylized numbers (check out number 10!) and smiling moonphase at 6 0'clock. The crescent moon red tip hand points to the date at the outer rim of the dial. The unpolished case still bears is original brushed and polished finishes with the 18mm lug spacing fitted with nicely matched leather strap. A beautiful styled, complicated wristwatch in a sturdy solid stainless steel case, perfect for daily wear.  This watch was produced in the 1940's a few years before the Leonidas-Heuer conglomeration formed.

Style:  Mid-Century Dress, Calendar

Circa: 1940's

Case: Solid stainless steel snap back case with fancy horn lugs and original crown.  4 buttons, 2 on each side of the case are use to quick set the day, date, month and moon phase features. Measures 35.5mm diameter excluding the original crown. New 18mm leather strap installed.

Dial: Incredible near mint original factory printed two tone silvered dial with apertures for the day, month and moon phase and outer date chapter with red crescent moon indicator hand. Signed Leonidas, Swiss.

Movement: Complicated triple date moon-phase manual wind movement with 17 jewels and incabloc shock protection on the balance, caliber ETA 1100 (made especially for Leonidas).  Freshly serviced and in excellent working condition with our full 1-year mechanical warranty.

Note: Never use the quick-set buttons to set any calendar functions between the hours of 10pm and 2am on a triple date calendar movement.  The pins and gears used to advance the calendar features are engaged at this time, so can be damaged if the quick set buttons are pressed during these hours.
