Rare and early Movado Automatic "Deluxe" model with solid 14K gold case AND dial housing the famous caliber 115 early bumper automatic movement. This is one of the first examples of the so called "deluxe" dial models, the idea later used by several manufactures, most notably Longines with their Conquest series and Omega with the Constellations. A classic dress watch with timeless style from the famous Swiss house.

Case: Large solid 14k gold 3-piece snap back case with simple horn style lugs and thin profile. Original bell shaped crown, signed inside the back 14K, 0.585, Movado Factories Switzerland with model ref #48463, Excellent condition with only minor signs of wear. Measures 34.5mm in diameter and comes on a high quality 18mm leather strap.
Dial: Rare solid 14K (stamped on the back of the dial) original factory printed dial with central square engine turned detail and small seconds at 6:00. Signed Movado, Automatic, Swiss. Some slight flaking of the varnish near the small seconds hand which is actually near invisible to the naked eye and looks far better in person then appears in these pictures.
Movement: Movado caliber 115 early "bumper" style automatic movement with unidirectional winding, incabloc balance protection and beautiful design and engineering throughout. Signed Movado Factories, 17 Jewels, Unadjusted, Swiss Made. Recently serviced by our watchmaker and in excellent working condition.
