Measuring 36mm in diameter with a lovely thin profile and narrow bezel, this timepiece has a very strong and elegant feel on the wrist. Case: Solid stainless steel case measuring 36mm in diameter excluding the original signed Omega crown. Light wear throughout, unpolished with original bevels still visible on the lugs. Measures only 8.7mm thick with a beautiful low profile crystal. Some marks on the back can be seen from where the watch was worn on a nato strap in the past. Inside the back is fully signed Omega Watch Co, Fab Suisse, Swiss Made, Acier Inoxydable with model number 2890-4. 18mm lug spacing.
Dial: Gorgeous original no-luminous factory printed dial with two-tone silver background, fancy large applied faceted arrowhead and fluted block markers. Sub-seconds cross-hair at 6:00 with printed minute markers, signed Omega, Swiss Made. Small imperfections can be seen in these magnified pictures, but in day light this dial looks very bright and sharp with a great vintage feel.
Movement: Superb quality Omega calibre 267 based on the famous original 30T2 design in excellent cosmetic and mechanical condition with incabloc balance protection with jewels to the center wheel.
