Style: Mid-Century Modern, 70's Big and Bling

Case: Solid stainless steel screw back case with integrated formed flat steel cuff bracelet. Setting crown at 6:00. The main body of the case measures 44.5mm by 38.5mm. The high quality steel cuff can be bent to fit almost any wrist size. The clear plastic in the pictures you see inside the cuff is the watch stand used for photographing, and not a part of the watch.
Dial: Original factory printed dial with a vertical mirrored strip down the middle and date aperture at 3:00. Signed Gubelin G Quartz, Swiss. Some very light spotting is present on the dial, but barely visible to the naked eye.
Movement: Very early quartz movement with large quartz crystal. Signed Swiss 7 Jewels, Ref G 0710. In excellent working condition.
This rare example of Mid-Century Modern design for the wrist is in superb all original condition from the famous retailer of fine jewelery and watches, E. Gubelin of Switzerland. Beautifully formed solid stainless steel case with two tone brushed and polished details. A very early example of Quartz technology, the beginning of a very important era in watch history. A beautifully crafted truly unique piece of Mid-Century Modern history.
