A truly rare, unusual and unique vintage 1959 Omega Automatic tank style wristwatch with a striped tri-tone white, rose and yellow 14k gold-filled case, curtain or ribbon style textured dial and an automatic caliber 570 movement freshly serviced within. In all honesty to me it looks almost like a prototype experiment gone strangely, but beautifully sideways. I certainly have never encountered a tri-tone gold filled case before, let alone one that has been hand knurled which partially obscures that finish! You can see just how much more visible the tri-tone colours show through between the lugs. A wonderfully experimental, unique and artistic design from 1950's Omega, with a stunning factory dial and original beveled glass crystal.
