A rare and beautiful 1973 Tiffany & Co Rolex Oyster Perpetual Datejust 1603 with near mint double signed dial, creamy luminous dots and matching hands on a cool original American made Jubilee style bracelet. A stunning watch on the wrist, this is not only a rare collectible piece of Rolex/Tiffany history but a gorgeous watch to wear on any occasion. The dial is especially remarkable with an extremely bright silver background and clear printing throughout with a Tiffany & Co signature that is consistent with other genuine examples of the same era. The case is clean with sharp edges and an engine turned bezel, all with light surface wear from gentle use. I just love that it is on an USA made, jubilee style oval-link bracelet which to me adds to that sense of the American/Swiss partnership in the manufacturing and sale of this timepiece. Case: Solid stainless steel 3-piece Rolex Oyster case with engine turned bezel and jubilee style bracelet. It measures 36mm in diameter excluding the original signed crown that screws down perfectly to the case. It looks to have perhaps been lightly polished once in its history with sharp edged lugs and original brushed details still very much present with light surface wear from gentle use. The jubilee style bracelet has rare oval style links, is full length with 20 total links including the endlinks and will fit up to a 6 1/4 to 6 1/2 inch wrist at its current length. One extra link is included. The clasp blade is signed Rolex, Stainless Steel, USA. It does show some minor stretch from wear but is comfortable in the wrist and a perfect match to the timepiece itself.
Dial: Near mint bright silver/white dial with outer minute track on a stepped, pie-pan style edge with original creamy tritium luminous dots, signed Rolex Oyster Perpetual Datejust, Tiffany & Co, Superlative Chronometer, Officially Certified, T Swiss T. The original date disk matches to perfection with open 6's and 9's and works perfectly turning over instantly at midnight.
