A rare and unique 1940's 24-hour wristwatch with cool black enamel bezel and beautiful textured dial in a thin profile stainless steel case with 17 jewel movement within. This timepiece has a sharp and eye-catching look on the wrist and is in superb cosmetic and mechanical condition, just serviced and keeping excellent time. I just love the look of that dial with detailed texturing and applied numbers 13 through 24. Wittnauer produced some highly sought after 24-hour models in this era, all of excellent quality in stainless steel cases with such unique and interesting designs. Here we have rare and beautiful example, ready to wear!

Case: Solid stainless steel case with 12-hour black enamel bezel measuring 34mm in diameter excluding the original signed crown. 19mm lug spacing fitted with a nicely matched black leather strap. Signed inside the back Wittnauer, New York, Geneva, Montreal, Star Watch Case Co, Stainless Steel, with model reference number 2442-11WS.
Dial: Original factory printed white textured dial with applied 24 hour markers and original hands. Signed Wittnauer, Swiss. Superb bright original condition with just a touch of age giving it that perfect vintage feel.
Movement: Wittnauer calibre 11WSG manual wind centre seconds movement with incabloc protection on the balance and 17 total jewels. Freshly serviced and keeping great time with our full one year mechanical warranty.
