A very important historical military issued wristwatch by the Universal Watch Co. From what I have read, these were issued to the Dutch military in 1939 just prior to the suspected German invasion and subsequent occupation of world war 2. These are always the watches I wish could tell us their story, so much history present in every scratch. I love the original crown, worn down to the brass from years of use. A true military collectable especially in such good condition.
