Case: Solid stainless steel case with waterproof screw on back, pushers and crown. Signed inside the back Movado Factories Switzerland, Fabrication Suisse, FB (François Borgel) Patent and Stainless Steel Inal. Measures 33mm in diameter. 16mm strap.

Dial: Original factory printed dial in near mint condition. Date indicated around the outside edge, apertures at 9:00 and 3:00 to show day and month. Luminous numbers and hands. Signed Movado, Switzerland.

Movement: High grade complicated triple date manual wind movement signed Movado Factories, 15 Jewels, Swiss Made. Caliber 475SC. Recently serviced with all functions working perfectly.

This early Movado triple date is in stunning condition both inside and out, a rare waterproof model highly sought by collectors. The dial looks as bright as the day it was sold and the complicated waterproof case is still sharp. Pushers at 2:00 and 4:00 used to set the date and month. It has just been fully serviced by our watchmaker as is good as new, working perfectly. A brilliant example of micro engineering, this complicated calendar movement brought great praise and numerous awards to the Movado watch company in 1945. Superbly designed and crafted this timepiece is one for the ages and extremely hard to find in such good condition. At this price certainly an amazing deal from one of the top watchmaking houses in history.
