One of the most beautiful examples of this watch I have ever seen, this rare two-tone rose gold/stainless steel Movado triple date calendar is in wonderful condition, has the unique turtle lug case design and was originally retail by La Gerbe D'or, Paris most likely in the mid 1930's.  I hope the pictures say it all.  A very special timepiece to behold with classic Movado style and a tangible high Art Deco vintage feel.

Style: Calendar, Art Deco, Dress

Circa: 1940's

Case: Rare two-tone solid 18k rose gold & stainless steel case, "turtle" style lugs and fluted sides.  Three piece snap together design with solid gold bezel, steel body with gold cap lugs and steel back.  Measures 34mm in diameter excluding the crown and comes on a high quality 16mm black leather strap.   The buttons to quick set the month and date are located on the side of the case at 2:00 and 4:00 respectively.  Singed inside the back with the Movado hand logo and reference numbers 14821, C472658. Probably the original crown, but can't be 100% sure.

Suisse, La Gerbe, D'or Paris, Switerland.  Outer date track has blue numbers, rose gold applied hour and dot markers with small seconds at 6:00 and apertures for the day and month at 9:00 and 3:00.  All original rose gold time hands with red tipped date indicator hand.  Overall excellent condition with only a few very slight marks to note.
