Gorgeous solid stainless steel, tropic dial Jaeger-LeCoultre Powermatic from the late 1940's in wonderful all overall condition, with power-reserve indicator and a freshly serviced caliber 481 movement keeping excellent time, ready to wear! Such a beautiful and unique look to this European market watch, signed Jeager-LeCoultre, Automatic on the dial and movement, it is a real eye-catcher on the wrist with that rich auburn, naturally aged dial and applied gold hour markers with matching hands. I just love the red-accent of the power reserve indicator when the time remaining dips below 20 hours. These old bumper automatics do not automatically wind nearly as efficiently as modern watches so it is fun to watch much how much wind you get it the mainspring by wearing it around everyday. I have always loved the late Art Deco design of this model from the famous house of Jaeger-LeCoultre of Switzerland.
