A truly stunning and unique vintage 1930's high Art Deco era Jeager-LeCoultre hand crafted one-of-a-kind jewelry watch, diamond decorated in solid 18k rose and white gold with back wind/set caliber 496 freshly serviced here at Meticulous, ready to wear. A extravagant piece of hand crafted artistry, design and craftsmanship this wonderful creation is stunning on the wrist in every way. Crafted from solid 18k rose gold with white gold features it is heavy weighing ..... grams with 29 sparkling diamonds including on the decorated clasp. I just love the Art Deco style original factory printed copper colour dial, signed Jeager-LeCoultre, Fabrique En Suisse with sword style matching hands. The watch is hand wound using the crown on the back of the case, which is pulled out to set the time. This was a very advanced piece of technology in its time not only for its small size (measuring only 14mm in diameter) but also the back wind feature allowed for designs that did not need to incorporate a crown at the edge of the case, an attribute utilized to its potential in this lovely design. A truly wonderful vintage piece of high-end jewelry and watchmaking from 1930's Jaeger-LeCoultre.

Case & Bracelet: Solid 18k rose and white gold with diamonds set in the bezel, bracelet and clasp. Stamped in a few places with the French Poincon-Tete eagle hallmark for solid gold as well as a very interesting makers mark with the initials AOP. The watch will fit up to a 6-1/2 inch or 16.5 cm wrist at its current length. The clasp has a tiny little safety latch on the side for added security on the wrist. This watch is not water-resistant.
Dial: Original factory printed copper colour Art Deco style dial with applied gold hour markers and printed numbers at 12,3,6 and 9. Light patina from age with matching solid gold hands.
Movement: Superb, high-grade Jaeger LeCoultre in-house designed and manufactured manually wound caliber 496 movement in excellent cosmetic and mechanical condition. Fully signed Jaeger-LeCoultre Fab. Suisse, Swiss with 15 jewels and back wind/set crown. Freshly serviced and in excellent working condition, keeping great time with our full 1-year mechanical warranty.
