From the famous house of Lemania comes this beautifully preserved 1950’s solid stainless steel military style chronograph in wonderful unpolished, lightly used condition housing the in-house caliber CH27 movement and gorgeous original factory printed dial.  This example must have sat decades in a box because there are very little signs of wear throughout with sharp edges on the case and a movement within that is clean and sharp as the day it was made. It has just been freshly serviced here at our Meticulous workshop, running beautifully and keeping excellent time with all of the chronograph functions working to spec.  I just love that original dial with the old style Lemania signature, outer Base 1000 tachymeter track in red and perfectly aged luminous to give it that unmistakable vintage feel.

Circa: 1950’s

Style: Sport, Military

Case: Solid stainless steel 3-piece case measuring 32mm in diameter excluding the original crown and pushers.  Even the original spring bars are present and fitted with a nicely matched  18mm vintage black leather strap with generic buckle.  Correctly stamped inside the back with a 4 digit serial number typical of Lemania chronographs of that era.

Dial: Superb original factory printed silver dial with outer red base 1000 tachymeter track with black 1/5th seconds track then luminous hour numbers, constant seconds at 9:00 and a 30-minute counter at 3:00.  Signed Lemania, Swiss.  The original pencil style luminous hands match to perfection, with aged luminous (that glows the same as the dial in black light) and are glazed black for easy reading again the bright silver background.

Movement:  Lemania’s famous calibre CH27 manual wind chronograph movement in absolutely gorgeous cosmetic and mechanical condition, freshly serviced here at our Meticulous workshop and keeping excellent time with all chrono function working as they should.  This column wheel designed calibre assured its place in history decades after this watch was produced as part of the Omega/Nasa space program. The hour recording version, the Omega 321 was used in the famous Speedmaster models until the late 1960’s.  A beautifully designed and manufactured movement from one of the most highly regarded chronograph producers of all time, Lemania of Switzerland in superb condition and ready to wear.
