A gorgeous mid-century Omega Automatic Chronometer Officially Certified Constellation model 168.016 offering a perfect blend of elegance and high-grade horology. A handsome and timeless, 14k gold-capped over stainless steel Omega from the peak of the Constellation era — elegant, classy and ready to enjoy. Housed in a lovely 36mm diameter case with a stunning factory printed original silver dial with applied gold with black markers, matching dauphine hands and framed day-date window at 3 o’clock. This model is powered by the famous chronometer-certified Omega Caliber 751, a 24-jewel, high-grade automatic movement with quick-set date. It’s been fully tested and is running beautifully, keeping great time, most likely recently serviced (but not here at Meticulous), so we will give it a 30-day limited warranty as the service looks fairly fresh. Cosmetically excellent with only light signs of use, this Constellation is a fine example of late-1960s Omega craftsmanship and elegance of design, ready to wear.
Case: Lovely, heavy 14k gold-capped case in excellent condition with only light signs of wear consistent with gentle use. It measures approximately 36mm in diameter excluding the original signed crown. The case back has a beautiful solid gold Constellation medallion still showing the full 8 stars. Inside the back is fully signed Omega Watch Co, Fab Suisse, Swiss Made, Fond Acier Inoxydable, CD 168.016. The 19mm lugs are fitted with a lovely high grade RIOS strap with Alligator grain and an aftermarket Omega signed buckle.
Dial: Factory printed original silver vertical brushed dial with applied gold hour markers and matching hands. Framed day-date aperture at 3 o’clock. Signed Omega Automatic Chronometer Officially Certified, Constellation, Swiss Made. The dial is in outstanding condition protected by its original Omega signed plastic crystal.
Movement: Omega Caliber 751 automatic chronometer movement with 24 jewels, quick-set date and sweep seconds. Fully tested and running strong, keeping great time. Recently serviced but not here at Meticulous, so offered with 30-day limited warranty.
