A beautifully designed and manufactured Omega Geneve wristwatch with extremely rare black racing style dial with red accents with white on black date display, produced in very small numbers in 1970 for the American market.  This is an awesome timepiece on the wrist, I just love the detailed 1/5 seconds track, finely printed white on black with those "Tintin" style red highlights.  From my research it seems as if this dial variation was only printed in one batch with all of the serial numbers from the examples I have seen starting with 32700XXX.  It is possible less than a dozen of these are known worldwide.  A simple watch with a manual wind caliber 613 movement that really packs a punch in very nice unpolished condition, freshly serviced and ready to wear!

Circa: 1970

Style: Sport

Case:  Solid stainless steel case measuring 34.5mm in diameter excluding the original signed Omega crown, by 40.5mm lug tip to tip and 18mm lug spacing fitted with a nicely matched black racing style leather strap.  Nice original, unpolished sunburst style brushing on the bezel with some minor marks from wear.  Signed inside the back Acier Inoxydable, Omega Watch Co, Fab Suisse, Swiss Made with case makers mark LL and model reference number 136.041.  Original signed Omega crystal is also in near mint condition.

Dial: Stunning factory printed original black dial with white and red outer 1/5th seconds track, bold applied block markers at 12,6 and 9 with date aperture at 3 showing at rare white on black printed date disk.  Signed Omega Genève, Swiss Made.  Superb near mint condition.  Matching white original hands contrast perfectly with the dial for easy legibility at a glance.
