A beautiful 1940's Art Deco era oversized Omega housed in a 38mm solid stainless steel case housing a wonderful slightly tropic original factory printed dial and high quality in-house manual wind movement freshly serviced here at Meticulous, keeping great time and ready to wear.  At a time when 30mm to 35mm diameter watches were the norm, this 38mm giant was a rarity, produced in relatively few numbers. This example has a beautifully designed dial with a rose gold mirrored 12, hour dots at 3 and 9 with a huge oversized sub-seconds dial at 6.  A superb quality vintage Omega oversized wristwatch of enduring quality and timeless design.

Circa: 1947

Style: Art Deco

Case: Solid stainless steel case measuring 38mm in diameter excluding the neatly inset original signed crown. It has a beautifully thin profile, unlike most 38mm watches today, giving it a classy yet bold look on the wrist. Stamped inside the back Acier Inoxydable, Omega Watch Co, Fab Suisse, Swiss Made with model number 2505-10.  Lightly surface swirling throughout from gentle wear with a slight texture on the case back from what looks like years of use on a fabric Nato style strap.

Dial: Beautiful factory printed original dial with a lovely even patina, still bright and clear to read with rose gold colour markers, a mirrored 12 and sub-seconds at 6:00. Signed Omega.

Movement: In-house designed and manufactured Omega caliber 265 manually wound movement with incabloc protection on the balance.  Signed Omega, 15 Jewels, Swiss with the serial number in the 11 million range dating it to approximately 1947.  Freshly serviced here at Meticulous, keeping excellent time with our full 1-year mechanical warranty.
