Case: Solid 18k yellow gold case measuring 26mm in diameter excluding the original signed screw-down crown. The sturdy, scratch resistant sapphire crystal is held in place by a sharp fluted bezel and the watch has passed a water-resisance test at the time of service. The bracelet has a total of 39 links including the endlinks and fully signed Rolex clasp. It will fit up to a 6-1/4 inch wrist at its current length. The case back is stamped Original Rolex Design, then inside Montre Rolex SA, Geneva, Switzerland, Rolex SA, 18k 750 with corresponding model number 69000A. Inside the lugs at 12:00 it is also stamped with the full model number 69178, then at 6:00 with the serial number starting with L which dates the watch production to 1989.
Dial: A beautiful and rare champagne colour dial with fancy sunburst style numbers and date aperture at 3:00. Superb near mint condition and fully signed Rolex Oyster Perpetual Datejust, Superlative, Chronometer Officially Certified, T Swiss Made T. Original hand are also near mint and match to perfection.
