A gorgeous vintage 1972 Rolex Oyster Perpetual GMT-Master model 1675 in solid 18k gold and steel in superb, Rolex factory refurbished condition, ready to wear! This classic "Root Beer" model has that famous nipple dial look with a factory Rolex service dial, hands and bezel insert installed, with perfectly brushed lug-tops and flat polished sides with a brand new plastic crystal installed, looking near as sharp as the day it was sold over 50 years ago. This watch comes with its original box, GMT-Master booklet, hang tag and extra leather strap. A stunning vintage Rolex sport model with bold and clean vintage look on the wrist.

Case: Solid stainless steel case measuring 40mm in diameter excluding the Rolex signed screw-down crown, with 20mm lug spacing fitted with a sharp 18k and steel 62523H-18 Jubilee style bracelet (455 endlinks) which must have been added later as it has an "I12" date code from 1984. The case and bracelet are in beautiful lightly polished and brushed condition with sharp edges and a very clean look on the wrist and
tests as fully waterproof. The solid 18k bezel is fitted with a near perfect 2-tone service bezel insert which turns with nice friction. The case is signed between the lugs at 12 with the model number 1675 and at 6 with a serial number in the 3184XXX range dating it to 1972. This matches the stamp inside the case back which reads Montres Rolex SA, Geneva, Switzerland, Patented, Stainless Steel, 1675, II.72 (2nd 1/4 of 1972). This watch will fit up to a 7" wrist at its current length with 21 total links including the endlinks. The leather/rubber strap included adds a stylish wearing option and is equally comfortable on the wrist.
Dial: Mint factory printed Rolex service dial with sunburst brushing under the gloss finish. Classic "nipple" dial hour markers and matching hands have Luminova luminous fill which glows a lovely green in the dark. The dial is fully signed Rolex Oyster Perpetual GMT-Master, Superlative Chronometer, Officially Certified, Swiss.
Movement: Superb Rolex in-house calibre 1570 in stunning cosmetic and mechanical condition, signed Montre Rolex SA, 26 Jewels, Swiss, Adjusted 5 Positions And Temperature. This watch has been fully tested and is keeping excellent time although it is with us on consignment and was not serviced by us so must be sold as is with no warranty.
