Case: Solid stainless steel Oyster style case with original crown signed Oyster Patent and coin edge screw down back. Signed inside Tudor Geneve, Switzerland, Patented with the model Ref# 4453.
Dial: Original factory printed military style dial with brown luminous markers/hands and inner 24 hour numbers printed in white. Small seconds at 6:00. Signed Oyster Chester, Shock Resisting, Swiss Made. Overall good condition with only minor spotting and some slight discoloring of the luminous numbers.
Movement: Caliber 59 manual wind movement signed Rolex Geneve under the dial and Swiss Made, 15 Rubis on the movement plates. Early shock resisting device on the balance jewels. Recently serviced and in excellent working condition.
This is a superb all original Rolex/Tudor military model with rare 24 hour black dial and sturdy oyster style stainless steel case reference number 4453. The case has been fully restored while the movement (which is immaculate) has had a full service and is running well. A rare piece of Rolex military watch history in excellent overall condition.
