Case: Large solid stainless steel 2-piece screw back case with heavy bezel and wide lugs. Measures 35.5mm in diameter excluding the crown and comes on a new genuine leather 18mm strap. The back plate is stamped, Longines, Water-Guard, Shock-Guard, Syncro-Guard, Life-Guard....hence the name "All-Guard". The crown is an original stainless steel Longines crown, although unsigned, but could very well be original. The is exactly the same case as used in the Conquest series only without the medallion back.
Dial: Original factory printed dial with large steel markers and center seconds signed Longines Automatic. This early version does is not labeled "All-Guard" on the dial as later models were. Nice even patina throughout, just slightly cream color, actually looks much lighter in person then in these pictures.
