Stunning 1978 Tudor Prince Oysterdate Submariner 94110 with stunning original factory printed matte black dial with matching cream luminous on the snowflake hands and gorgeous original lightly faded fat font bezel, freshly serviced here at Meticulous and keeping great time with our full 1 year mechanical warranty. This watch comes direct from the nephew of its original owner who served as a marine engineer on icebreakers in Canada's north for the Canadian Coast Guard through the 1970's and 80's. What stories I am sure it would tell if it could. The dial, bezel and case are remarkably well preserved while the old 9315 Rolex bracelet certainly showing how much time this tool watch spent on the wrist. A truly superb Tudor Sub with awesome history and a super sharp presence on the wrist.

Dial: Stunning factory printed original matte black dial with white printed outer minute ticks, large cream luminous hour markers with date aperture at 3:00 and signed Tudor Prince Oysterdate, 200m = 660ft, Submariner, T Swiss T. The original snowflake style hands match to perfection. All black date display disk, correct for this model.
Case: Solid stainless steel case measuring 40mm in diameter excluding the original signed screw-down crown. Signed on the back Original Oyster Case By Rolex Geneva with Montres Tudor SA, Geneva-Switzerland, Patented, 9411 stamped on the inside. The original bezel with fat-font insert is superb with light fading on a semi-matte finish with original pip still in place. It rotates smoothly in both directions with perfect friction. Between the lugs at 6 is stamped the serial number in the 897XXX range dating it to approximately 1978 with the model number 94110 stamped at 12. Good used vintage condition and possibly lightly polished at some point with signs of the original chamfers still visible on the lugs. Tested fully waterproof at time of service. The 9315 Rolex Submariner bracelet with 380 endlinks shows lots of wear with some stretch and surface scratches, but functions perfectly well on the wrist. 14 total links including the endlinks will fit up to a 7 3/4 inch wrist.
Movement: Beautiful fully signed ETA calibre 2784 automatic movement with25 Jewels and Kif shock protection.
