A stunning late 1960's Rolex OP Datejust with solid 18k gold fluted bezel and stainless steel case with original two-tone USA made oval link bracelet that wears comfortably on the wrist. A classic vintage Rolex with wonderful pie-pan style original factory printed champagne dial with gold baton hands, housed in a 36mm diameter case excluding the original signed Rolex screw-down crown. This watch has been freshly serviced her at Meticulous and is keeping superb chronometer grade time. It comes with our full 1-year mechanical warranty and has been tested waterproof at the time of service. The case has a lovely lightly worn finish with brushed lugs and polished sides. The bracelet shows lots of wear to the links, but still has lots of life left in it and is remarkably comfortable on the wrist with its oval shape links and cool vintage buckle. Case: Solid stainless steel case with 18k gold bezel measuring 36mm in diameter excluding the original signed crown which screws down nicely to the case. The plastic crystal is clean and sharp and the watch is tested waterproof. The original USA made 14k gold and stainless steel bracelet shows wear with some notching on the gold middle links (see pictures). It will fit up to a 7-3/4 inch wrist beautifully and is very comfortable to wear. Signed inside the buckle Rolex, Stainless Steel, 14 KT Trim, U.S.A.
Dial & Hands: Stunning near mint original factory printed dial with champagne background and pie-pan shape outer rim with all luminous plots still in place. Signed Rolex Oyster Perpetual Datejust, Superlative Chronometer Officially Certified, T Swiss T. Matching baton style hands are also in excellent condition. The date display disk is a special variant, a "fat font" hooked 7 design correct for this time period and model.
