This rare and fancy vintage watch box from the Paul Ditisheim is in wonderful original condition. The form fitting red velvet base is superb quality and will hold a midsize mens watch up to approximately 32mm diameter. Nice high quality brass button to open and textured outer cover. The while silk lining is signed in red and black Paul Ditisheim, La Chaux-De-Fonds, Medaille D'or, Geneve 1896, Grand Prix Exposition Universelle, Paris 1900, Grand Prix, Berne 1914, Records Aux Concours Chronometriques, Des Observatoires De Neuchatel, Kew Et Teddington. Looks also like the original Arab retailer has stamped his logo on the left of the inner cover.
What an amazing artifact from one of the top watchmakers of his time. This museum quality box would have certainly held a very rare and precious timepiece.
