A truly stunning, beautifully preserved 1967 Breitling Chronomat with original black and silver panda style dial with rotating slide rule bezel in an unpolished 37.5mm solid stainless steel case with a freshly serviced Venus calibre 175 movement keeping great time within, ready to wear! The original factory printed dial is stunning, bright and sharp as the day it was printed with a slide rule bezel that rotates with nice easy friction for making calculations on the fly... literally. The case has sharp original chamfers on the lugs with a brushed and polished case back showing just minor surface marks from light wear and most likely years of storage. This famous and historic Breitling model is gorgeous on the wrist and a remarkable vintage example that has truly stood the test of time in every regard.

Case: Solid stainless steel case measuring 37.5mm in diameter excluding the original signed crown and stainless steel pushers with 18mm lug spacing. The bezel turns with light friction and is still fitted with its original plastic crystal. The case back is polished around the outer edge with vertical brush in the middle, stamped Breitling Chonomat +217012, Stainless Steel with model number 808. Inside is also stamped Breitling Watch Ltd, Swiss with a serial number in the 1.13 million range dating the watch to approximately 1967. Superb lightly used condition throughout. Fitted with a high quality RIOS1931 black leather strap with contrasting white stitch and stainless steel tang buckle. Not a water resistant model.

Superb near mint condition fully signed Breitling Watch Ltd, 17 Jewels, Unadjusted, Swiss, WOG with Venus 175 stamped below the balance wheel on the mainplate.
