A rare and unique 1972 solid stainless steel racing dial Omega Automatic in all original condition, freshly serviced and ready to wear. This awesome vintage Omega is in superb condition throughout with a unique, near mint original factory printed dial and only light surface signs of wear on the unpolished case. I just love the design and detailed printing of the dial housed in a sharp, faceted solid stainless steel case with flat brushed top, angled lugs and polished sides. It measures 35mm in diameter and comes on a perfectly matched rally style 18mm soft genuine leather strap.

Circa: 1972

Style: Sport, Mid-Century Dress, Casual

Case: Solid stainless steel case with original Omega signed crystal and crown, measuring 35mm across and 42mm lug tip to tip.  Superb, sharp unpolished condition with light surface wear.  Signed inside the case back Acier Inoxydable, Omega Watch Co, Fab Suisse, Swiss Made, LL with model reference number 1660120.

Dial: Stunning near mint original factory printed dial with unique outer thin striped design around the hour markers and across the center, framing the day and date apertures.  All cream colour tritium luminous plots are still in place and match the original hands to perfection. Signed Omega Automatic, Swiss Made.

Movement: Omega in-house designed and manufactured caliber 1020 thin profile automatic movement with 17 jewels and serial number in the 34 million range dating it to approximately 1972.  Full serviced here at Meticulous, keeping great time with our full one year mechanical warranty.

Note: The watch does pass a 3-bar water resistance test at time of service which is superb, but as it is a vintage timepiece we would suggest keeping the watch away from moisture when possible.
