Case: Solid stainless steel case measuring 40mm in diameter excluding the original Rolex triplock screw-down crown with original bezel and insert in excellent condition, turning with nice friction. The lugs still have their original brushed tops with chamfered edges and polished sides showing light signs of surface wear. Stamped between the lugs with the model number 79090 and serial B352XXX dating the watch to 1990. Signed on the back of the case, Original Oyster Case By Rolex Geneva, then inside Montres Tudor SA, Geneva - Switzerland, with the model number 76100. These 76100 case backs were left over from the previous series of Subs and consistently used on early 79090 examples, 100% correct for this model. The 20mm lug spacing is fitted with a beautiful quality genuine leather strap and generic buckle.
