A beautiful example of what makes vintage Universal Geneve watches so desirable, their truly unique sense of style and design.  I simple love the Art Deco stylized dial on this watch, minimalist in nature but perfectly balanced with fancy high Art Deco mirrored numbers at 12,3,6 and 9 and an inner 1/5th seconds track accented by the blue steel centre seconds hand.  The case has a sharp polished bezel in contrast to the smooth sculpted brushed finish of the body and flowing long lugs.  It is this attention to the details of the design that a true appreciation develops for UG and their history of innovation and craftsmanship.  What a beauty!

Circa: 1940's

Style: Casual, Art Deco

Case: Solid Enversteel (Stainless Steel) 2-piece case measuring 34mm in diameter excluding the original inset, unsigned crown with snap back.  Stamped with the model number 20510 and serial number dating it to approximately the 1940's.  Inside is also fully signed Modele Depose, Enversteel, Swiss, Universal Geneve.  The top is in wonderful lightly aged condition with just a few signs of corrosion on the back of the case.  Comes on nicely matched 18mm genuine leather strap with generic stainless steel buckle.

Dial: Original factory printed two-tone silver dial with mirrored details, signed Universal Geneve, Swiss.  Original white steel hour and minute hands with blue steel centre seconds.  The dial is still bright and beautiful with some light spotting visible under close inspection which does not distract overtly from the overall look of the watch on the wrist.

Movement: High quality in-house designed and manufactured Universal Geneve calibre 267 manual wind movement with indirect centre seconds.  Excellent cosmetic condition throughout, freshly serviced and keeping great time with our full 1 year mechanical warranty.
