Case: Big solid stainless steel 3-piece snap back case with fancy hinged lugs. Signed inside back Vulcain Staybrite. Measures 37mm diameter and 51mm lug tip to lug tip. Supplied on 16mm bonklip style stainless steel band. Leather can be substituted if desired.
Dial: Original factory printed chronograph dial with outer Telemetre chapter and inner Tachymetre spiral signed Vulcain Chronometre. Inset small seconds and minute counter dials. Rare pierced upper dial so hour markers are reflected on lower metal dial underneath. Overall good condition, but missing small amount of paint on the word Chronometre.
Movement: High grade 17 jewels early Valjoux caliber 22 two button chronograph movement signed Vulcain. Recently serviced and in excellent working condition.
This large and very solidly built 2 register chronograph by Vulcain is in great overall condition and has a sharp military look with it rare fancy lugs. The rare 2 part pierced dial is in good overall shape with only some slight paint loss. The steel bonklip strap could be original will be sold as such, but a leather strap can also be supplied if desired. A beautifully built fancy military chronograph from the respected Swiss house of Vulcain.
