This is a truly rare and beautiful all original sterling silver 1920's Art Deco style wristwatch made by Zenith of Switzerland for the famous American jewelers, J.E. Caldwell & Co. The large rectangular, or "tank style" case has as very simple, classic lines with beveled bezel, straight lugs and slightly curved back, all crafted in thick solid sterling silver. The original dial is spectacular and looks almost new through the also original glass crystal. A beautiful and stylish Deco timepiece from the top grade manufacture.

Case: Large size hallmarked solid Sterling Silver case with original crown and curved back. Measures 25mm by 37mm excluding the crown and takes a nice wide 19mm strap giving it good presence on the wrist. Signed inside the back 0.935, Zenith Watch Co. Switzerland, Sterling Silver. Tasteful engraving on the back reads J.K.Danby Wil-Del.
Dial: Original factory printed dial is in pristine condition with original faded orange luminous and small seconds at 6:00. Signed J.E. Caldwell & Co, Switzerland. The hands are also original, but have lost some of there luminous over the years.
Movement: High grade Zenith 10 1/2 ligne caliber probably an early predecessor to the famous caliber 106 series. Manual wind movement signed Zenith Watch Co, Swiss, 15 Jewels with 3 Adjustments. Recently serviced by our watchmaker and in excellent working condition.
