A stylish Art Deco, high-grade Gruen Techni Quadron Duodial doctors watch from the 1930's featuring a factory printed original dial, powered by the famous Aegler form style movement (the same base caliber as in Rolex Prince models of the era), house in a white gold-filled case, freshly serviced and keeping great time, ready to wear! Fitted on a wonderful grey/black vintage leather strap, this timepiece has such a unique 1930's look on the wrist with its sharp printed dial, blue steel hands and nicely inset winding crown on the long tank style case. The condition is superb for its age with a clear sharp glass crystal, bright silver dial and very little wear thought the white gold finish of the case. The large seconds hand at 6 o'clock became very popular during this period for doctors needing to take the pulse of their patients hence the association. A truly wonderful, high quality vintage Gruen duodial with beautiful vintage elegance and class.

Case: White gold filled 2-piece case measuring 22mm wide excluding the crown, by 41mm lug tip to tip. The original winding crown is beautifully inset into the side of the case. The case shows light surface wear throughout, but virtually no signs of wear through to the base metal underneath. Signed inside the back
Dial: Wonderful factory printed original dial with above center time display and large seconds at 6 o'clock. Superb lightly aged condition with a bright silver background and black printed details. Signed Gruen. The blue steel hands complete the Art Deco look to perfection.
