From the golden era of the Longines Watch Company comes this classic, high Art Deco era men's wristwatch with beautiful original factory printed dial and blue steel hands in a classy solid stainless steel case housing the famous caliber 12.68z movement within. Longines timepieces of this era are becoming increasingly difficult to find, especially in all original condition as is the one you see here. The dial has a wonderfully unique design with exaggerated numbers at 12, 3 and 9, outer minute track and sub-seconds at 6:00 with a very light patina giving the watch a wonderful 1930's feel. The high grade movement within is also immaculate and in superb working condition after a full service by our watchmaker. A truly beautiful 1930's vintage timepiece in every respect from the famed house of Longines.

Case: High quality solid "Staybrite" stainless steel 3-piece snap together case measuring 30.3mm in diameter excluding the original crown. Classy angular "calatrava" style lugs with polished tops and brushed sides. Signed inside the back Staybrite, Acier Inoxydable with a serial number matching the case to the movement and dating the watch to 1937. Comes on a new old stock 16mm black leather vintage strap.
Dial: Beautiful factory original black on silver printed dial with exceptional Art Deco design. Some slight spotting can be seen under magnification as you see in these pictures, but still in wonderful vintage condition, bright and sharp to the naked eye. Signed Longines.
Movement: Immaculate Longines calibre 12.68z manual wind movement featuring a bi-metallic cut balance, 15 red ruby jewels, blue hairspring and bright gold color movement plates. Signed Longines, 12.68z (lower plate beside the balance) with 5.5 million serial number dating the watch to 1937. Fully serviced by our watchmaker and in excellent working condition.
